Association registered in France in accordance with the Law of 1901

The association has the purpose, according to its statutes, of promoting and providing all material and intellectual assistance to research projects and historical studies within the context of comparative liturgy and, in this manner, contributing to the dissemination of liturgical culture as an element of general culture through the knowledge of diverse traditions. This entails interdisciplinary work within the scientific field, sacred art, architecture, and music in relation to divine worship. This implies developing activities in various fields, such as research, publishing, communication, and the organisation of training courses and concerts, inter aliaTo this end, the association may conclude agreements with other institutions of a private or institutional, national or international character. Since the beginning of 2025, the latter has materialised into joint work with the sister association The Society for Studies of Comparative Liturgy, based in London, with which objectives and interests are shared; both institutions sponsor the academic and research activities of the DICSI Divini Cultus Studiorum Institutum (France-Rome) and the St Augustine of Canterbury Research Institute for Comparative Liturgy (London), which are responsible for carrying out the projects presented on this page.

The coordination of the activities of these various institutions is entrusted to Gabriel Díaz-Patri. Charbel Pazat de Lys, O.S.B. is the General Delegate.
